In the field of conservation, various issues are addressed: the study of the materials and techniques of execution of the artifacts, the identification of the causes and mechanisms of degradation, scientific and technical advice for restoration and conservation, development of methodologies and products for restoration and conservation, enhancement and fiuition of works of art and their urban context.
