Master Degree in Chemistry (2000) and Ph.D. in Science
for Conservation of Cultural Heritage (2005) at the University of
Florence.
Since 2000, she has been carrying out research
activities in the field of Cultural Heritage:
- 2000-2005 CSGI (Center for Colloid and Surface
Science) - Department of Chemistry of the University of Florence
- 2005-2006 CNR - INO (Institute of National Optics),
Florence
- 2005-2009 Opificio delle Pietre Dure, Florence
- 2007-2009 S.M.A.Art Centre (Scientific Methodologies
Applied to Archaeology and Art), University of Perugia, Italy.
Since 2009, she is a researcher at CNR-ICVBC
(permanent position since 2012).
She participates in European and National Projects:
- EU-ARTECH EU project “Access, Research and
Technology for the conservation of the European Cultural Heritage”
(2005-2009)
- ST@RT National Project “Science and Technology for
the Artistic, Architectural and Arcaehological Cultural Heritage in
Tuscany” (2008-2010)
- TeCon@BC National project “Innovative Technologies
for the Conservation and Valorization of Cultural Heritage” (2010- 2012)
- IPERION CH EU Project “Integrated Platform for the
European Research Infrastructure ON Culture Heritage” (2015-2018)
She is relator and co-relator of master theses.
She cooperates with competent authorities for the
protection of cultural heritage, conservators and restoration companies,
in the studies for the knowledge of materials and state of conservation
of manufacts of historical interest in support to the restoration.
She is author and co-author of more than 50 scientific
papers published in national and international Journals and Proceedings
of Conferences.
