SUBJECT(S): God the Father creates the stars

CRITICAL NOTES: This is one of the three surviving panels of the Old Testament window painted by Maffiolo da Cremona (see files Museo 8, 9). U.Monneret de Villard attributed these to Niccolò da Varallo. But C. Pirina, basing her research on several documents, distinguished the stylistic differences between the three glaziers active in the apse and assigned this panel and the other two below to Maffiolo da Cremona (see files Duomo 1, 4)

CONDITION: in good condition although several replacements by P. Bertini.
