SUBJECT(S): A gargoyle in dark green pot metal glass representing a lion protome supporting a fruit festoon
CRITICAL NOTES: C. Pirina, noticing the close analogies with the grotesques of the Saint Catherine of Siena window (Milano, Cathedral, window nXI) surely executed by Currado Mochis da Colonia (1562), believes that this glazier painted this panel and two other of the same subject (see the files 17, 19) to complete the New Testament window ( sII )
CONDITION: The gargoyle and the upper part of the red ribbon are in good condition. The fruits festoon is a replacement by P. Bertini.
