SUBJECT(S): A gargoyle in pale green pot metal glass representing a lion protome supporting a fruit festoon
CRITICAL NOTES: C. Pirina noticing the close analogies with the grotesques of the St. Catherine of Siena window (Milano, Cathedral, window nXI), surely executed by Currado Mochis da Colonia (1562), believes that this glazier painted this panels and the following to complete the unfinished window of the New Testament ( see Duomo 18-19).
CONDITION: The gargoyle and the upper part of the red ribbon present several heavy mending leads. The fruit festoon is a replacement by P. Bertini
